From Specialized Insulator to BC Industry Leader
AARC-West Mechanical was founded in November 1994 as a small, specialized company offering industrial and commercial insulation. Over three decades it grew into a large, diversified organization among the leaders in mechanical insulation in BC. In 2013, the company separated its commercial and industrial operations into two dedicated companies — Aarc-West Mechanical Insulation (2013) Inc. and Aarc-West Industrial Insulation Inc. — to better serve its customers.

AARC West is a full-service, bondable contractor with experienced estimating, installation and project-management teams. We're a 3M Master Contractor and a BCICA QAC Certified Contractor whose work meets the BCICA Quality Standards for Mechanical Insulation, and we're a proud member of the CCA — backed by more than 30 years of trusted work across British Columbia.

We've been insulating BC's industrial, marine and commercial projects for more than 30 years. With offices in Langley, Victoria (Colwood) and the Interior, we serve the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island and Interior BC with genuine local knowledge.
As a BCICA QAC Certified Contractor, we hold our work to the BCICA Quality Standards for Mechanical Insulation. Painstaking attention to detail, inspection and quality control are part of every job — so systems install clean and perform for years.
Safety is our number one priority. Through ongoing training, management commitment and employee participation — with a dedicated individual tracking training, certification and first aid — we keep every requirement current on site.
We coordinate closely with our affiliated companies across the AARC network. Fire stopping is offered through our affiliate Nor-West Firestop, so related scopes are handled by specialists and arrive ready for install.
